MBA Sites
Sites that focus on the b-school application, b-school experience, and post b-school life.
- Accepted.com
Run by an admissions consulting service, the site mainly touts their offerings. However, it also has some very sound advice and is worth a stop.
- Business Week's B-Schools Section
The main page that links to stories, rankings, and other resources that may be helpful in your decision. Features links to discussions, forums, blogs and the MBA Insider section ($29.95 subscription required), which has lots of helpful advice for selecting and applying to schools.
- MBA 360
An online resource offering advice on business schools, MBA programs, MBA online programs, etc.
- MBA 4 Success
This site, run by a management consulting company, offers information and advice from both a global and U.S. perspective.
- MBA Alliance
This clean, succinct site has some good info and an excellent resources page.
- MBA Info
This venerable site (as far as the Web goes, anyway) has lots of resources ands advice, plus a database to search for your perfect program.
- MBA Jungle
A well-organized site that “targets young professionals pursuing careers in business and in technology.” It features everything from articles to case studies to online networking.
- MBA Map
Advice on a wide array of MBA-related topics. The tone is friendly and the info is easily digestible. The real strength of this site is their new blogs section, where you can read other students' experiences or start your own blog.
- MBA Podcaster
Exactly what the name says - this slick site offers podcasts featuring expert advice specifically for MBA applicants. Great idea.
- MBA Sites
A super-clean site with a well-edited, comprehensive selection of helpful links by category. Nicely done.
- MBA Style
This site's niche is, as the name suggest, style - for interviewing, dressing for work, you name it. But it also features a wealth of links, advice, and book recommendations.
- MBA Women
A well-written blog "dedicated to women who are considering an MBA as the next step in their careers." Covers a broad range of topics as they relate to women, but much of the advice would be helpful to either gender.
- Vault.com
A career and education site wwith an MBA section. Most, but not all, of this site's content requires paid membership, but some very good info is free.
